healing our wounds

Sexuality is such a wonderful human gift.  Yet it is also so destructive if it is used for power rather than love.  Sadly, religion has not always enabled a healthy approach to sex and the body. All involved with churches must recognise the appalling hurt and shame of sexual abuse and do all that can be done to prevent any repeat.  Meanwhile, many religious people struggle with the insights and full dignity of LGBTIQ+ people.
How can we improve our relationships and honour one another's bodies appropriately?
